Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Matt. 6:28-29

Poetry
I just found out that April is poetry month from another blog that I like to read. Shel Silverstein is one of my childhood favorites. His most famous books are aimed towards children, but he also wrote other books and some famous songs like A Boy Named Sue for Johnny Cash and One's On the Way sung by Loretta Lynn. Anytime I need cheering up, Shel Silverstein poems usually do the trick. They are timeless and funny. I love Where the Sidewalk Ends, The Giving Tree, and A Light in The Attic.
Go to www.shelsilverstein.com for some cute animated versions of his poems.

Vicki, So sorry, had not been on the blog in quite some time. First, your dogs are gorgeous.
I have no way of knowing how to protect your photos of your kids. I just throw mine up there and hope for the best. :) Maybe not too many prison folk reading the blatherings of Goodnight Mom!
Anyway, I love Shel Silverstein. When we were in school, in the 7th grade, you had to give a reading at the weekly assembly. It was always a good day when someone broke out old Shel.
Vicki: My congratulations to Joshua on his Bar Mitzvah. Your mom passed on your email. I hope you write a blog entry about the event and include some pictures.
God bless you and your family.
